2011 Safety-on-the-Job Kids' Poster Contest Winners
Two-thousand poster entries were submitted by children from around the world for the 9th Annual Safety-on-the-Job kids’ poster contest. The winning entries best illustrated safety on the job. First-place winners were selected for each of five age groups:

Anjela G. Sevilla, 12, Jubail, Saudi Arabia, for “Safety Matters”; sponsored by Bernardo Sevilla, member, Middle East Chapter.
Robin Newman, 14, AL, for “Don't Be the Sender to Cause a Fender Bender”; sponsored by Steven Newman, member, Maumee Valley Chapter.
The winning entries are featured on a poster distributed to thousands of businesses worldwide to promote North American Occupational Safety and Health (NAOSH) Week, which will be celebrated May 1-7, 2011. First-place winners also receive $1,000 savings bonds. All contest entrants receive recognition and are invited to attend the awards ceremony in Washington, DC, on May 2, 2011. In addition, deadlines for the ASSE Foundation silent auction and golf outing are fast approaching. Silent auction items must be received by May 1 to be printed in the brochure, and golf outing sponsorships must be received by May 3.
