This award is open to any individual regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, religion, personal beliefs, age, sexual orientation, physical challenges, geographic location, university or specific area of study.

For students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in occupational safety & health or a closely related field. Priority will be given to Indiana resident s attending school in Indiana or anywhere in the US or to non-residents attending an Indiana university.

Four awards @ $5,250 each plus Conference Opportunity
For students pursuing an undergraduate degree in occupational safety & health or a closely related field. Students will also be provided with the opportunity to attend SAFETY 2008 in Las Vegas from June 9-12, 2008.

For students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in occupational safety & health or a closely related field. Priority will be given to students from Texas attending a Texas university.

For students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in occupational safety & health or a closely related field. Students that reside within the Region II (MT, ID, WY, CO, UT, NV, AZ, NM) area will have priority on this award.

For part-time or full-time students pursuing a degree in occupational safety & health or a closely related field. Priority will be given to students attending Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, Louisiana, attending any college or university within Louisiana or within the southeast U.S. region (in that order). Students pursuing an associates or bachelors degree are eligible. ASSE general or professional membership required if applicant is a part-time student.
Two awards - one @ $1,000 and one @ $2,000
For students pursuing an undergraduate or a graduate degree in occupational safety & health or a closely related field. Student must be a member of any ASSE chapter in New England including Greater Boston, Connecticut Valley, Granite State, Maine, Nutmeg or Worcester County, or student must be an immediate family member (spouse or child) of any ASSE chapter member in New England or, student must be a member of any ASSE student section in New England. There is no limit on the number of years award recipients can receive this scholarship.

For part-time or full-time students pursuing an undergraduate degree in occupational safety & health or a closely related field. No geographical restrictions. ASSE general or professional membership required if applicant is a part-time student.

For students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in occupational safety & health or a closely related field. Priority will be given to students that belong to the Middle Tennessee Chapter, attending Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, TN, Murray State University in Murray, KY and those that live in the Region VII (in that order).

Students that attend school in the northeastern Illinois region, described as the area north of I-74 contained within the Illinois state borders, or children of NEIL chapter members attending school elsewhere (majoring in SH&E or a related field) will have priority on this award.

Priority will be given to part-time or full-time students that belong to the North Florida Chapter, full-time students that attend any Florida college or university or to full-time students that attend an ASAC/ABET accredited program nationwide (in that order). ASSE general or professional membership is required if applicant is a part-time student.
Two awards up to $1,200 each
For students pursuing an undergraduate degree in occupational safety & health or a closely related field. This scholarship provides the full ASSE Professional Development Conference experience including airfare, hotel, meals and registration for SAFETY 2008 in Las Vegas, June 9-11, 2008. Students must apply and meet the basic criteria of an ASSE undergraduate scholarship.

For part-time or full-time students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in occupational safety & health or a closely related field. Students that reside within the Craters of the Moon Chapter, Idaho and the Region II (MT, ID, WY, CO, UT, NV, AZ, NM) area (in that order) will have priority on this award. Students that are an employee or dependent of a sponsoring organization, serving the country through active duty in the armed forces or honorably discharged, a member of the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, FFA, 4H, etc. in previous years, recipients of awards from service organizations or have provided volunteer service to an ASSE chapter in a leadership role will also receive priority on this award. ASSE general or professional membership required if applicant is a part-time student.

For students pursuing an undergraduate degree in occupational safety & health or a closely related field at Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant, OK or for any student from the Southwest Chapter area attending a school within the Region III boundaries.

For students pursuing an undergraduate degree in occupational safety & health or a closely related field. Student must be a Georgia resident.
Two awards @ $5,250 each plus Conference Opportunity
For students pursuing an undergraduate degree in occupational safety & health or a closely related field. Student must be of a minority ethnic or racial group and must be a United States citizen. Students will also be provided with the opportunity to attend SAFETY 2008 in Las Vegas from June 9-12, 2008.

For students pursuing an undergraduate degree in occupational safety & health or a closely related field at Murray State University in Murray, KY or Indiana State University in Terre Haute, IN.
One award @ $5,000 plus Conference & Internship Opportunity
For students pursuing an undergraduate degree in occupational safety & health with an emphasis in construction safety. Student attending an ASAC/ABET accredited program is preferred. Student will also be provided with the opportunity to attend SAFETY 2008 in Las Vegas from June 9-12, 2008 and an internship that includes salary & living expenses.
One award @ $1,000
For students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in occupational safety & health or a closely related field. Students residing in Arizona, then the Region II area (MT, ID, WY, CO, UT, NV, NM) will have priority for this award.

For students pursuing a graduate degree in occupational safety & health or a closely related field.
One award @ $1,000
For women pursuing a graduate degree in safety engineering, safety management, occupational health nursing, occupational medicine, risk management, ergonomics, industrial hygiene, fire safety, environmental safety, environmental health or any other closely related fields. ASSE student membership not required for this award.
