PLATFORM STATEMENT

ASSE at the Society, Regional, Chapter & Section level requires its leadership to exhibit the following values: Integrity; Trust, Teamwork & Quality. I live and breathe these values on a daily bases. In addition I work very hard to communicate to the member in my area. We also look to create outreach opportunities for the chapters and members I serve in order to enhance their engagement with ASSE and fellow professionals. It is incumbent on those in leadership positions to seek ways to motivate & entice our expanding, diverse and ever changing membership to engage and/or re-engage at all levels within the framework of our association and more specifically their local chapters/sections.

Finally, we at the Region and Society leadership level have been developing and continue to review processes & systems to reduce transactional time needed to run our organization. This can be seen in the new COMT report that has replaced the former STARS annual chapter report.

I will continue to work with the chapters and society as we strive to provide additional tools and services.

This goal will allow both officers and members the ability to serve while advancing both their personal and professional careers within ASSE.

I ask for your support to allow me to continue to serve in a second term as AD Northern for Region VI. I am confident with the experience gained to date as AD along with my 30 plus years of safety, military and business acumen we can further grow ASSE and develop the future leadership of our profession.

Thank you for the privilege to serve and look forward to ‘paying it forward’ through service.
