Platform Statement

ASSE Region VI encompasses a large area within ASSE.  Along with our region's two Area Directors, I will face the challenges common to all levels of a volunteer organization. Recruiting and maintaining members is of primary importance. Our members within the safety profession, those who work for a living educating employees and establishing safety programs must be educated themselves. ASSE is the foundation of not only this educational base but the standardization of this certification. The benefits of ASSE should be known to all OSH professionals, those just beginning their career’s, as well as established mentors in the profession.

I  am inspired by the dedication of the NC Chapter's professionals and wish to serve the members within Region VI. As members of ASSE, we do become value-added business leaders. We do possess the necessary competencies to manage a wide range of risks. We are the guys in the white hats. We are the conscience of our employers, the ones that will do the right thing", we are motherhood & apple pie, and we will save the day.
