Certificate in Risk Assessment

Risk assessment is a dynamic process that will enable you to proactively manage workplace risks. Recognizing the importance of this significant skill for the safety professional, ASSE is offering the Risk Assessment Certificate Program.

This is a 40-hour program of continuing education and training in risk assessment.  Participants in the Risk Assessment Certificate Program must complete all 40 hours (4 CEUs) within two years to receive the certificate.  These CEUs are earned by completing:

Additional Information

  • No previous coursework or training in risk assessment is required.
  • CEUs will be awarded for successful completion of the certificate program.
  • Attendees will receive a copy of the ANSI/ASSE/ISO 31000 (Z690 Series) standards.

Why earn the Certificate?
Certificate programs help prove your value to employers and hiring managers. Completing a certificate program indicates that you are committed to staying current in your field, have attained a higher level of expertise and have the discipline to work toward a specific goal.
