ASSE’s Virtual Global Symposium to Answer Questions on Where to Start When it Comes to International Work Safety
DES PLAINES, IL (March 15, 2012) – For those doing business globally whether located in the U.S. or internationally, the American Society of Safety Engineers’ (ASSE) March 20 virtual ‘Global Safety Symposium’ will provide valuable information to help understand international cultures, standards, how best to work with a multi-culturally diverse workforce, training, contractor management strategies, and, much more. The six live webcasts begin March 20 and run through March 23. However, as soon as one registers they are immediately provided a link with access to several on-demand sessions.
All symposium sessions will be presented by professionals with experience in global occupational safety, health and environmental (SH&E) programs and processes. The sessions will run from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. GMT so as to be more accessible for non-U.S. audience members. The live webcasts will be recorded for viewing at anytime and anywhere.
All live sessions are 60 minutes in length, plus additional time for live questions and answers. David Langlois, CSP, Langlois, Weigand and Associates, Inc., Baton Rouge, LA; and, Safety Culture in China presented by Richard Yi, EHS Manager of Nexans, China.
