Mr. Hansen is the Vice President, Environmental & Safety for Range Resources Corporation, in Ft. Worth, Texas. Mr. Hansen has over twenty-five years experience in the field and holds certifications in safety and ergonomics and is a license professional engineer. Mr. Hansen has a B.S. in Psychology and a M.S. in Industrial Engineering, specializing in Safety, both from Texas A&M University.
Mr. Hansen is currently a Past-President and Fellow of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE). Mr. Hansen has authored over 100 technical publications. Mr. Hansen is the past recipient of the Edgar-Queeny Monsanto Safety Professional of the Year Award in 1992-1993 and the Culbertson Outstanding Volunteer Service Award in 1991-1992 issued by ASSE.
He has published a book on career development entitled, “Out of the Box, Skills for Developing Your Own Career Path.” He is currently near completion of the follow up book to “Out of the Box”, “Getting to the Corner Office.” This book adds even more tricks of the trade for career survival, preservation and growth.
