Joel M. Haight, P.E., CIH, CSP received his M.S. and Ph.D. in Industrial and System Engineering from Auburn University. He is an Associate Professor in Penn State University’s Department of Energy and Mineral Engineering. Prior to joining the faculty at Penn State, Dr. Haight worked as a safety engineer for the Chevron Corporation for 18 years. Dr. Haight conducts human error research and intervention effective research in multiple industries. He is a professional member of ASSE, AIHA, and the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society, and has authored or co-authored more than 25 peer-reviewed scientific journal articles and book chapters.
Jeffery C. Camplin CPEA, CSP obtained a Safety degree in Industry and Technology from Northern Illinois University in 1984. He is currently President of Camplin Environmental Services, Inc., a safety and environmental consulting firm he founded in 1991. Prior to this position he was a senior consultant with ACM, Inc., and was also a Safety Coordinator for Cook County Hospital in Chicago.
Kathy Seabrook is president of Global Solutions, Inc. and Global Solutions International (UK) Limited. She has over 25 years of diverse safety and health management experience in both the domestic and international sectors, is a US Certified Safety Professional, UK Chartered Member of the Institution of Occupational Health and Safety and received a BS in Chemistry from James Madison University, USA.
