Excavating is recognized as one of the most hazardous construction operations. From soil collapse to underground power lines, the hazards are all around.
Join ASSE member Mike Hayslip in an exciting virtual class where you’ll look at the ANSI A10.12-standard, Safety Requirements for Excavation. More importantly, you’ll look at real-world scenarios as you discover ways to avoid trenching and excavation hazards.
In addition to covering general excavation safety requirements, we will discuss soil field tests, warning signs of ground instability such as tension cracks, bulging or water accumulation, and the selection of protective systems such as benching, shoring and trench boxes.
This virtual class will take place on Wednesday – March 5th, from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM (CST).
