The ASSE Technical Audio Conference Series provides listeners with the most up to date information on issues that significantly impact the SH&E profession. On Wednesday, February 14, Craig Schroll will present “ANSI/AIHA Z-10.1-2005 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems.”
Jim Smith, Vice President of the Council on Practices and Standards, (CoPS) will facilitate this call. Our main speaker, Craig Schroll, President Firecon, will present an overview of this newly developed OHSMS voluntary consensus standard. The purpose of the standard is to provide organizations with an effective tool for continual improvement of their occupational health and safety performance. An OHSMS implemented in conformance with this standard can help organizations minimize workplace risks and reduce the occurrence and cost of occupational injuries, illnesses and fatalities.
In this 90-minute call, the following topics will be covered:
Craig Schroll is a Certified Safety Professional, Certified Utility Safety Administrator, Certified Environmental Trainer, and Certified Hazard Control Manager. He has been actively involved in loss prevention and control since 1972. He has designed, developed, and presented a wide variety of training programs.
Jim Smith is a Certified Safety Professional and has almost thirty years in safety, health, and environmental management. Jim is current the Vice-President of the Council on Practices and Standards, (CoPS).
