ASSE will commemorate its 100-year anniversary in 2011. The Society’s 100th year theme is “Your Safety Is Our Business. Your Future OurMission.” The centerpiece event of the year will be SAFETY 2011, ASSE’s annual Professional Development Conference & Exposition.

For the 2011 conference, the Society will:
•Deliver a technical program that reflects the breadth and depth of the profession and addresses the professional development needs of SH&E professionals.
•Showcase the profession and the impact of SH&E professionals from around the globe.
•Launch its vision for the future of the safety profession.

ASSE invites those interested in presenting at SAFETY 2011 to submit a proposal designed to help attendees:
•Identify key issues facing SH&E professionals
•Expand their knowledge to improve their professional skills
•Prepare for the challenges in the SH&E fields
•Engage in the discourse concerning the SH&E profession
•Identify emerging issues relevant to the profession
