ANSI/ASSE A10.22-2007– BACKGROUND MATERIALS

ASSE, as secretariat of the A10 ANSI Accredited Standards Committee (ASC) for Construction and Demolition Operations, has continued to receive a number of inquiries related to ANSI/ASSE A10.22 Safety Requirements for Rope-Guided and Non-Guided Workers' Hoists.

Due to these inquiries, we have put together a “guide” for those with interest.

The ANSI/ASSE A10.22-2007 standard recieved final ANSI approval on February 7, 2007.

Previous versions of the standard were released in 1977, 1990, and reaffirmed in 1998.
