Our Deputy Executive Director, Thomas F. Bresnahan, is part of the Society for Human Resources Society (SHRM) committee, which will be interviewing potential candidates. The ASSE leadership is also currently reviewing ASSE members as potential candidates for these positions. Our hope is that the successful candidate(s) will have the necessary occupational safety and health technical background (a safety professional), and the appropriate level of administration experience (public or private) needed to effectively and efficiently manage these agencies and lead them into the future.
