My philosophy is that not only are you responsible for your life, but doing the best at this moment puts you in the best place for the next moment.

Applications are accepted throughout the year. Matches are made in March and September.

Who Needs a Mentor?

Anyone! That is, anyone interested in advancing their career. WISE focuses on women and is particularly motivated to match new safety, health and environmental (SH&E) professionals with experienced SH&E professionals. So if you can answer yes to any of the questions below, we can help you.

  • Are you changing careers?

  • Are you working toward any professional certification?

  • Are you returning to the workforce after awhile out of the rat race?

  • Are you a new college graduate?

  • Are you looking to expand your knowledge and experience?

How Does the Process Work?

  1. Think about your goals. What do you want out of this relationship?

  2. Talk to other people in your profession to get some ideas from them.

  3. Complete the application, giving as many specifics as you can. This will help us match you with the best mentor.

  4. Submit your application.

  5. WISE professionals will examine your application and set up the best mentoring match for you.

  6. You will be notified of your mentor’s name and contact information.

  7. The rest is up to you.
