The International Practice Specialty provides a global professional forum for advancing the international issues that affect safety, health and environmental (SH&E) professionals through networking opportunities, technical resources and a common voice. The objectives of the International Practice Specialty support one of the key elements of the Society's vision statement—to provide international leadership of the safety profession. The International Practice Specialty enhances the professional development of its members through an exchange of international safety technology, research and management processes. It provides a network for internationally minded safety professionals, and it also has become a resource on global matters of importance to the safety profession and to the Society. The International Practice Specialty publishes a periodic newsletter, produces quality materials and sponsors technical sessions at the Professional Development Conference (PDC). For more information about the International Practice Specialty, contact Jack Fearing.
