The Industrial Hygiene Practice Specialty’s vision is to be a highly valued resource for its members and outside contacts for effective industrial hygiene practices. Our officers are leaders in industrial hygiene practices within their respective organizations. The Industrial Hygiene Practice Specialty is known for:

Purpose/Mission:

The Industrial Hygiene Practice Specialty provides quality services to its members and technical support to the Council on Practices and Standards (CoPS), the Society and to the safety, health and environmental (SH&E) profession by identifying, encouraging and financially supporting opportunities for its members to:

  • Network and share successful practices
  • Establish and contribute to standards of practice
  • Participate in research
  • Influence government affairs

The Industrial Hygiene Practice Specialty publishes periodic newsletters with technical information of interest to industrial hygiene practitioners and develops technical sessions for ASSE’s annual Professional Development Conference.
