Edward Grund
Edward Grund is an active member of several ASSE and ASTM standards committees and led the first major revision process that produced the Z244.1-2003 lockout/tagout standard and its 2008 reaffirmation. His current position as Z244 chair is preceded by 35 years of continuous committee service.
Grund was instrumental in developing the 1995 and 2003 versions of the Z117 standard for confined spaces and helped produce its 2009 revision. He also served on the ASTM F-23 Committee for Personal Protective Clothing and Equipment and on the ASTM E-50 Committee for Environmental Assessment, Risk Management and Corrective Action.
