The Management Practice Specialty serves those with management, supervisory or oversight responsibility for safety programs. It works with chapters to develop management-related programs and sponsors concurrent sessions at the annual Professional Development Conference and at the post-conference seminars.

The Management Practice Specialty offers a certificate in safety management, which can be earned by completing required courses in fundamental and advanced safety management, and it also offers two safety courses that are elected from ASSE’s national seminars over a five-year period.
