OSHA’s Dec. 15 deadline to submit 2016 Form 300A data, announced last month amid controversy from industry professionals requesting more time, has come and gone.

However, OSHA announced this week it will continue accepting electronically-submitted reports until midnight on Dec. 31, 2017 and will not take enforcement action against employers who submit their records after Dec. 15 and before Dec. 31. Those submitting between now and Dec. 31 are required to use OSHA’s online Injury Tracking Application (ITA). OSHA will not accept 2016 data after January 1, 2018.
