Metropolitan Chapter members Carol Van Der Poel of New York City, Sheila Palmer of Malverne, and Jim Bifulco of Staten Island presented the memorial donation to past ASSE Foundation Chair Edwin P. Granberry this June at ASSE's annual conference in Nashville, TN. This year the Foundation will present one $1,000 scholarship under the "America Responds Fund" to an undergraduate pursuing a degree in occupational safety and health. The Foundation is accepting scholarship applications from now until December 1, 2002.
