SUMMIT TRAINING SOURCE RENEWS SUPPORT OF SAFETY EDUCATION AND RESEARCH THROUGH ASSE FOUNDATION

     DES PLAINES, IL (September 27, 2005) — Continuing its support of research and education in the occupational safety, health and environmental (SH&E) field, the Grand Rapids, Michigan-based Summit Training Source Inc. recently pledged a $15,000 donation to the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) Foundation.

ASSE Foundation Chair Kennith D. Brock, CSP, said "We are proud of Summit for its continued commitment to advancing the SH&E profession through ASSE Foundation programs providing college scholarships, research funding and professional development grants."

ASSE Foundation Board of Trustees member Valerie Overheul is the founder and president of Summit. The company previously donated over $25,000 to the ASSE Foundation for scholarships, research and the Foundation's Career Guide, a publication on the SH&E profession requested by students around the globe.
