Media-Only PDC Registration

Dear Members of the Media:

Please join us, and thousands of occupational safety, health and environmental practitioners, corporate leaders, exhibitors, and government officials, this June 28-July 1 in beautiful San Antonio for the annual ASSE Professional Development Conference (PDC) and Exposition at the Henry B. Gonzalez Center. With more than 200 sessions planned providing the latest in SH&E information – from research, to business operations to training with some programs in Spanish; an executive summit; key issue roundtables; and another massive exposition featuring the latest and hottest innovations in SH&E; attendees will wish there was another week of the event.

The ASSE-PDC convention center media room where you can work and get the latest conference information, hosted by ASSE Public Relations, will (location TBA) be open:

  • Sunday, June 28 from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.  
  • Monday, June 29, and Tuesday, June 30, from 7:30 a.m. through 5:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday, July 1, it will be open from 7:30 a.m. through 4:30 p.m.

In the full-service ASSE media room you can pick up your credentials, file stories, get convention updates, enjoy refreshments and more. We can connect you with the experts you need for interviews and other information.  

If you can attend, and, to ensure that your credentials are ready for pick-up in San Antonio please complete this registration form and return it by Monday, May 20, 2009 to:

  • In Person: *If plans to cover the PDC are made after May 20, please visit us at ASSE’s Professional Development Conference Media Room at the Henry Gonzalez Convention Center with a media ID and we will provide you with credentials on-site.

To receive credentials, media identification is required. Please register early to guarantee access and fill in the following information and/or attach your business card.

To receive ASSE Safety 2009 press credentials for the working media, please e-mail ASSE PR Manager Diane Hurns at dhurns@asse.org with your name, title, media organization you represent and your contact information. We will alert you when received. All credentials will be available for pick-up in the Safety 2009 Media Room in San Antonio located in Room 003 of the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center from late Sunday, June 27 through Wednesday, July 1. The 003 Media Room is open to those with media credentials and is equipped with the tools you need along with updates on the conference and expo events on a regular basis.
