Gabriel Alvarado Professional Development Grant - Sponsored by Rixio & Alejandra Medina
Various awards @$650+ each up to a total of $3,000 per year

Provides financial assistance to ASSE members who wish to advance their education through ASSE professional development seminars, symposia, the ASSE Professional Development Conference or ASSE Certification Preparation Workshops such as ASP, CSP, CHST or OHST and BCSP certification fees including application fee and exam fee. Must be an ASSE member or professional member.

Prof. Robert J. Ferris, P.E., CSP Professional Development Grant - Sponsored by the Nutmeg Chapter NEW AWARD
Various awards up to a $1,000 per year

Provides financial assistance to ASSE members who wish to advance their education through ASSE Certification Preparation Workshops (ASP, CSP, CHST or OHST), BCSP certification fees including application fee and exam fee and the CLCS and the OSHA Training Institute Courses 500,501,510 & 511. Nutmeg, Connecticut Valley and New England Area Chapter members will have priority on this award (in that order). ASSE student members are eligible.

Gulf Coast Chapter Professional Development Grant
Various awards up to a total of $1,000 per year

Provides financial assistance to ASSE members who wish to advance their education through ASSE professional development seminars or symposia or the ASSE Professional Development Conference, or the ASSE Certification Preparation Workshops including ASP or CSP. Also includes BCSP certification fees including application fee and exam fee. Gulf Coast Chapter members and Region III members will have priority on this award (in that order). Must be an ASSE member or professional member.

Terrance M. Hennessy Professional Development Grant
Various awards up to $5,000 per year

Provides financial assistance to safety professionals who wish to advance their education through ASSE professional development seminars or symposia, the ASSE Professional Development Conference, or the ASSE Certification Preparation Workshops (ASP, CSP, CHST, OHST). Also includes BCSP certification fees including the application and the exam fee. Priority will be given to ASSE members and ASSE professional members and to those working towards their ASP and CSP.

Hawaii Chapter Professional Development Grant NEW AWARD
Two awards at $500 each up to a total of $1,000 per year

Provides financial assistance to ASSE members who wish to advance their education through ASSE professional development seminars, symposia, the ASSE Professional Development Conference or ASSE Certification Preparation Workshops (ASP, CSP, CHST or OHST), BCSP certification fees including application fee and exam fee and the Governor’s Biennial Pacific Rim Safety & Health Conference. Hawaii Chapter members will have priority on this award. Must be an ASSE member or professional member.

New England Area Chapters Professional Development Grant NEW AWARD
Two awards @ $500 each up to $1,000 per year

Provides financial assistance to ASSE members who wish to advance their education through ASSE professional development seminars, symposia, the ASSE Professional Development Conference or ASSE Certification Preparation Workshops (ASP, CSP, CHST or OHST), BCSP certification fees including application fee and exam fee and other certification courses including the ARM and CFPS. Region VIII New England Area Chapter members will have priority on this award. In addition, ASSE student members are eligible if they belong to a student section affiliated with one of the New England Area Chapters.

Thomas & Dorothy Reilly Professional Development Grant
Two awards up to a total of $1,000 per year

Provides financial assistance to ASSE members who wish to advance their education through recognized college course work, ASSE professional development seminars or symposia, the ASSE Professional Development Conference, ASSE certification prep workshops such as ASP, CSP, and BCSP certification fees including the application fee and exam fee. Must be an ASSE member or a professional member.

Delmar E. Tally Professional Development Grant
Various awards @ $500-$800 each up to a total of $3,000 per year

Provides financial assistance to ASSE members who wish to advance their education through recognized college course work, ASSE professional development seminars or symposia, the ASSE Professional Development Conference, ASSE certification prep workshops such as ASP, CSP, CHST and OSHT, and BCSP certification fees including the application fee and exam fee. Must be an ASSE member or professional member.

Texas Safety Foundation Professional Development Grant
Various awards up to a total of $3,500 per year

Provides financial assistance to full-time safety professionals seeking certification in recognized safety certification courses such as ASP, CSP, OHST, CHST, CHMM. ASSE membership is not required.

All applications will be reviewed by the ASSE Foundation Scholarship Award & Selection Committee.
