U.S. Department of Labor Releases Preliminary National Census of Fatal Occupational Injuries Report for 2011

The U.S. Department of Labor’s  Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) National Census of Fatal Occupational Injuries preliminary  report (http://www.bls.gov/news.release/cfoi.nr0.htm) released September 20, 2012, showed 4,609 people died from on-the-job injuries in the U.S. in 2011, 13 people a day.
