What: American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) will host a “Lunch and Learn” event this Friday for local organizations interested in learning more about ASSE, the oldest and largest professional safety organization based in Des Plaines, IL, and occupational safety and health. The event is intended for local organizations who have an interest in the safety, health and environmental (SH&E) field or have employees in the SH&E profession. The luncheon presentation will offer networking opportunities as well as information on the benefits of joining ASSE, professional development opportunities, getting the word out, governmental affairs initiatives, professional affairs updates as well as a technical presentation on eye and face protection standards.
