MID-ATLANTIC SAFETY PROFESSIONALS’ 25th annual CONFERENCE to feature topics AIMED AT PREVENTING WOKRPLACE INJURIES AND ILLNESSES

WHAT: The American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) Region VI, which includes occupational safety, health and environmental professional members from the Mid-Atlantic states, will be host to its 25h annual Professional Development Conference September 22-23, 2011, at the Kingston Plantation Resort in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The conference will include sessions on: Hazard Recognition for Construction; Human Factors Engineering; Confined Space; On-Site Audits; NFPA 70E Changes; Emergency Preparedness; Legislative and Regulatory Developments; and, Regulatory Trends from the region.

Region VI of the American Society of Safety Engineers is comprised of 16 chapters stretching from South Carolina to Delaware, and includes Kuwait. 2011 marks the 25th annual professional development conference, which has been described as the biggest little PDC around.
