ASSE West Florida Chapter to Hold Safety and Health Professional Development Conference
Des Plaines, IL (March 3, 2010) — WHAT: The American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) West Florida Chapter will be host to a professional development conference and exhibition, “Complying with a Changing Society”, Thursday, May 13, 2010. The conference will be held at the University of South Florida’s Public Health Building located in Tampa.

WHY: This event will provide attendees with professional networking and learning opportunities, as well as valuable information regarding occupational safety and health. In addition to exhibitions and speakers on topics such as scaffolding citing, respiratory protection, hazardous communication and fall protection, the keynote speaker will be Les Grove, Area Director for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). This event is intended for occupational safety and health professionals with a desire to continue building critical skills, knowledge and making connections for excellence in safety management. Exhibitor space is limited. The registration form and payment must be received before registration is acknowledged. Attendee registration fees increase after the early registration deadline of April 15, 2010. Exhibitors and attendees need to register separately and both registration fees include lunch and break refreshments.
