ASSE Reaccredited as Authorized Provider of Continuing Education
Prestigious IACET Accreditation Demonstrates Commitment to High-Quality Lifelong Learning
DES PLAINES, IL (August 20, 2012) — The International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) awarded reaccreditation status to the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) on August 18 authorizing ASSE to continue to provide Continuing Education Units (CEUs). IACET ‘Authorized Providers’ are the only organizations approved to offer IACET CEUs. The accreditation period extends for five years, and includes all programs offered or created during that time.
Founded in 1911, ASSE has more than 34,000 occupational safety, health and environmental professional members located globally and committed to protecting people, property and the environment. ASSE provides a wide range of professional development products and services including the annual Professional Development Conference and Exposition, SeminarFest, the fall Leadership Symposium, and continuing education programs which include webinars, e-training, on-site training and more.
