ASSE Business of Safety Audio Conference Scheduled for February
Des Plaines, IL (January 24, 2006) —The American Society of Safety Engineers’ (ASSE) upcoming “Business of Safety’ Audio Conference, held this February 22 from 11 AM-12:30 PM CST, will focus on safety performance measurement in relation to business/financial management. Leading the presentation is ASSE past president Mark Hansen, P.E., CSP, CPEA, of Houston, TX, who will speak on the positive impact that investing in safety and health management makes on an organization.
Covering the business of safety and how safety and health management programs can improve an organization’s bottom-line is the focus of the American Society of Safety Engineers’ (ASSE) Audio Conference held February 22 from 11 AM-12:30 PM CST.
Leading the presentation is ASSE past president Mark Hansen, P.E., CSP, CPEA, of Houston, TX, who will speak on the positive impact that investing in safety and health management makes on an organization. He will also discuss best practices in measuring safety performance and determining the value of safety for organizations. Hansen serves as chair of the ASSE Business of Safety Committee and as national director of Risk Control for Oil and Gas for St. Paul Travelers Insurance.
Audio Conference registrants will receive access to the call, a PowerPoint presentation, and articles pertaining to the business of safety.
