From the Office of Cooperative Programs –

As part of our efforts to keep OSHA’s cooperative program participants informed of the agency’s activities, I wanted to let you know that OSHA has updated its Grain Handling Safety and Health Topics Page with new statistics and updated information on preventing grain dust explosions.  The Web page includes information on applicable OSHA standards, grain handling hazards, and evaluating and controlling exposure.  For example, the page includes OSHA’s hazard alert and wallet card on the dangers of entering grain storage bins.
