OSHA Alliance-Sponsored Webinar on OSHA Emergency Response Standards

Subject: Invitation to attend an OSHA Webinar “A Review of OSHA Standards for Emergency Action Planning and Response” – Wednesday, April 2, 2014

Through the OSHA and American Supply Association (ASA) Alliance, ASA has extended an invitation to Alliance Program participants to attend a free Webinar from 2:00-3:00 pm EST on Wednesday, April 2, 2014.

The Webinar, co-sponsored by OSHA and ASA, will address OSHA’s Emergency Action Plans (29 CFR 1910.38) and Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (29 CFR 1910.120) standards, and the difference in applicability between the two; incidental releases versus emergency response operations; required plans and procedures; training of covered workers; and available compliance assistance and outreach products. Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions following the presentation.

Rundman III, Supervisory Industrial Hygienist, Directorate of Enforcement Programs, Office of Health Enforcement (OHE), USDOL-OSHA, for the free webinar, which will review OSHA standards and guidance related to emergency action planning and emergency response for all types of businesses.
