New OSHA Online Tool to Help with Recordkeeping

From OSHA –

The U.S. Department of Labor has issued the OSHA Recordkeeping Advisor (http://www.dol.gov/elaws/OSHARecordkeeping.htm), a new Web tool to help employers understand their responsibilities to report and record work-related injuries and illnesses.  The OSHA Recordkeeping Advisor helps employers quickly determine whether an injury or illness is work-related, whether a work-related injury or illness needs to be recorded, and which provisions of the regulations apply when recording a work-related injury or illness. The Advisor is written in plain language to help employers, especially small business employers, understand OSHA’s recordkeeping requirements.  The Advisor is not, however, a substitute for compliance with the OSHA’s recordkeeping regulations.
