Posted in on Thu, Feb 2, 2012

The National Academy of Sciences has issued a report A Research Strategy for Environmental, Health, and Safety Aspects of Engineered Nanomaterials stating that, because not enough is known about the potential risks nanomaterils pose to health and the environment, those risks need to be studied further.  The report lays out a strategic approach for developing the science and research to address those uncertainties.  Information about the report can be found at http://www.nap.edu/catalog.php?record_id=13347#description
