IoM Recommends NIOSH Do More to Evaluate PPE

In a report released November 11, the Institute of Medicine recommended better evaluation of personal protective equipment through the development by NIOSH of a risk-based conformity assessment processes for non-respiratory PPT and the establishment of a surveillance system to help measure the effectiveness of PPT.
