House Approves Bill to Give Whistleblower Protection to Offshore Workers
On July 30, the US House of Representatives, on a partisan vote of 315 to 93, approved the Offshore Oil and Gas Worker Whistleblower Protection Act to extend updated whistleblower protections to workers whose employers are engaged in oil and gas exploration, drilling, production, or cleanup on the Outer Continental Shelf (OCS).
