From NIEHS –

The Department of Energy’s (DOE) National Training Center (NTC), within the Office of Health, Safety and Security (HSS), teamed with the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), and the Volpentest HAMMER Training and Education Center (HAMMER) to establish a model for collaborative safety training across DOE operating sites. The NTC/NIEHS/HAMMER partnership developed a “straw man” to expand the use of collaborative safety and health training across the DOE complex. The Department of Energy is seeking comments on the white paper explaining the proposed program. Comments are due by the end of October 2011 to safetyportability@ntc.doe.govMemorandum  White paper
