CSB to Investigate Root Causes of Deepwater Horizon Accident

US Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board (CSB) Chairman John Bresland said in a letter to to Chairman Henry Waxman of House Energy and Commerce Committee and Chairman Bart Stupak of Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations that CSB would undertake an investigation of the root causes of the Deepwater Horizon accident. Noted were the accommodations it would have to make with regard to its other investigations due to its limited resources.
