Audit Reveals OSHA and State Plans’ Use of Recovery Act Funds

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, passed to provide economic stimulus at the height of the recession, gave $13.6 million to OSHA.  Of that amount, $6.4 million was never spent, for various reasons.  The report on use of funding written by the Department of Labor’s Office of Inspector General can be found at
