Platform Statement

I am excited about the opportunity to serve as the ASSE Metropolitan Area Director for the upcoming term.  Since I joined ASSE in 1989, NJ-ASSE has been a critical element in the development of my career.  The people I have met and the opportunities provided by this organization have helped me to achieve many of my professional goals that otherwise would not have been attainable.  I would therefore like to give back to the organization that has given me so much and serve as the Metropolitan area director.

I believe my involvement and leadership roles in NJ-ASSE, NJ-ACHMM and my professional skills will attest to my qualifications for the position of Metropolitan Area Director.  In my position as a Risk Engineering Consultant for Zurich, the ability to be independent and self motivated and my ability to be a good communicator is critical to my success.

As Area Director, I will provide the ASSE board with a clear and concise documentation of local meetings and events.  I will continue to distribute timely updates and chapter news to all members.

I will bring the enthusiasm and energy required to serve in this position.  As serving as a board member, of professional organizations such as NJ-ASSE, NJ-ACHMM and NJ-AIHA has helped me to further my career and personal life.  I would like to give back to everyone by serving as Metropolitan Area Director.  I therefore ask you to vote for me as Metropolitan Area Director for the American Society of Safety Engineers.
