Platform Statement

The ASSE is a strong organization in service to safety, health and environmental professionals. We operate within an ever rapidly diversifying world, and with it, our profession. It is important we remain the professional organization of choice through the efficiencies of technology and the value people bring to our membership.

It is membership; people, that bring strength to our Society. As a member of the ASSE Finance Committee for five of the past six years, I’ve been part of navigating the rollercoaster impact the downturn and subsequent stabilization the economy has had on our organization. I’ve conducted analyses and learned how to make the hard decisions for our financial stability while ensuring positive impacts of our service remain intact for our membership. My experience in this capacity as well as other leadership roles within our Society and as a financially successful business owner will serve me well should you choose to elect me as your Vice President of Finance.

Strong financial leadership ensures a positive membership experience and the opportunity for growth in the direction our Society desires. We can embrace our diverse membership demands with fiscal responsibility. The Vice President of Finance serves to ensure the financial stability and viability of the Society now and into the future. I welcome the opportunity to serve as your Vice President of Finance: thank you for your vote.
