Seminar Description:
In this seminar, you will focus on the process of developing or updating an internal Emergency Response Team (ERT) for your organization. You will learn how an ERT functions in a variety of organizational structures and to fulfill a variety of emergency planning needs for the circumstances required of most organizations. These circumstances include fires, weather emergencies, security breaches and other building events requiring evacuation and/or response; medical emergencies including rescues from confined spaces; and hazardous materials spills/releases. You will return to your organization with the ability to finalize a proposal for an internal ERT or determine how you can refresh your existing ERT and make it function more effectively.

· Bring your organization in compliance with various regulations that require emergency response plans and activities
· Recognize those situations in which your organization may require an emergency response and determine the appropriate level and type of ERT to address that need
· Develop and implement an effective ERT including policy and procedure, budget, process for selection of team members, training and drilling
