The presentation will discuss the historical impact of this infamous fire, often called, the fire that changed America. Attendees will learn actions that took place as a result of this tragedy including: fire protection, worker safety laws, building code improvement, behavioral analysis, emergency management and the birth of the American Society of Safety Engineers.
