This session provides an overview of the application of a forecasting technique to predict incident rates from a business oriented perspective. The double exponential smoothing technique was used to compare the actual and the predicted incident rates in a one-year period. The forecast accuracy indicated 71.58% with a tracking signal of -4.08.
