652 AERAT: Agricultural Ergonomics Risk Assessment Tool

Sponsored by the Ergonomics Branch of the Industrial Hygiene Practice Specialty
Ergonomics in agriculture must consider factors not traditionally considered in other industries. Despite technological development, agricultural workers are still exposed to high workload demands which in many cases are higher than the workers’ capacity. An Agricultural Ergonomic Risk Assessment Tool (AERAT) was developed and applied in agricultural and nonagricultural environments.
