526 OSHA Standard for Confined Space Entry in Construction

Since the early 1980ís the need for a confined space standard, for the construction industry has been hotly debated. In 1993 litigation surrounding the General Industry standard resulted in an agreement between OSHA and the United Steelworkers Union to develop a standard that addressed the construction industry. This presentation will cover the OSHA Confined Space Standard for the construction industry, how it differs from the OSHA General Industry Standard and the ANSI Z117 Confined Space Standard.
