695  Global Supply Chain: Driving Safety and Health

Protecting workers’ safety at all points in these production chains is a complex and very challenging effort. National governments in the developing world often do not have adequate regulations or enforcement resources or may not have regulations at all to address this rapid industrialization. This presentation will explore the scope and scale of problems in global supply chains, discover what strategies have worked or failed – and why – and learn what ASSE members, individually and collectively as an Association, can do to help improve occupational safety and health conditions around the world.
