631  Work and Wellness: Protecting the Whole Worker

Research continues to show the importance that an employee’s general physical and mental health has on controlling workplace injuries and disability duration. The cumulative and independent employee exposures should be recognized and managed through physical, administrative and behavioral control plans. This session will review these issues, control plans and provide resources for effective program development to protect your organization’s most important asset. It will also discuss creative ways to get employees to adopt safe behaviors at work and at home.
