Persuading your clients to achieve astonishing safety results is what we strive for as safety professionals. Whether you are an internal consultant seeking to influence within your own organization, or an external consultant, your role is to leverage your influence to get what you want. In this session, we will refine the role of a successful safety consultant, characterize the various roles you play as a consultant, review the art of contracting/persuading, identify common forms of resistance and examine methods of managing conflict.
