Compressed Gas Cylinder Safety

Description: We take for granted the power compressed gas cylinders possess. Many cylinders are pressurized to an excess of 2,000 PSI. Pretty amazing considering many fluid power, pneumatic systems only reach a maximum pressure of 250 PSI. What’s even more amazing is how casually we treat these sleeping giants. This session will detail safe handling, storage, transportation, and use procedures recommended by the Compressed Gas Association, and observing temperature extremes and leak testing recommendations.
