Description: The risks that are faced by Department of the Treasury employees are diverse and include manufacturing, hazardous materials, ergonomics and machinery. In 2007, Treasury won awards for having the largest decreases in injuries and illnesses of any department or major office in the Federal Government. This session will focus on the specific methods that Treasury used to achieve substantial injury reduction. The speaker will also share insights from his experience in managing safety in both the public and private sectors.
